Terms, plainly
The agreement between you and DDD when you book a valet to drive you home in your own car. The fares below are the fares the app charges.
1. Who these terms are between
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Valet Plus Pte. Ltd., which trades as DDD, operates www.ddd.cars and the DDD apps, and is referred to below as "we", "us" and "DDD".
By booking a trip you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not book. We may update these terms; the version published here when you book is the one that governs that trip.
2. What the service is
DDD is a drive-home valet service in Singapore. You book a driver through our app, and that driver drives you home in your own vehicle. We do not supply a vehicle and we are not a taxi, a private hire operator or a point-to-point transport service. The vehicle is always yours.
After your trip ends we send a second driver to collect our valet from your drop-off point. That driver is ours, not yours, and does not form part of what you are paying for.
We serve Singapore only. A trip must start and end within Singapore.
3. Who may book
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
You must be the owner of the vehicle or otherwise authorised to let another person drive it, and you must have the owner's permission to do so. You are responsible for confirming that your motor insurance policy covers a driver other than yourself. This is your policy and your insurer, and we cannot check it for you.
The vehicle must be roadworthy, legally registered, taxed and insured, must hold a valid inspection where one is required, and must be a manual or automatic car our valet is licensed to drive. Tell us before the trip if the vehicle is modified, unusually large, or carries anything that affects how it is driven.
4. What we ask of you
Give accurate pickup, destination and vehicle details when you book, and be at the pickup point at the time you chose.
Hand over the keys to the valet in person, and be in the vehicle for the trip unless you have booked on behalf of a passenger who will travel instead of you.
Do not carry anything illegal in the vehicle, and do not ask the valet to break a traffic rule, exceed a speed limit, carry more passengers than the vehicle is approved for, or go anywhere they reasonably judge to be unsafe.
Treat our valets and recovery drivers with respect. We will end a trip, and may refuse to serve you again, if a driver is threatened, abused or placed at risk.
5. Fares
The fare is flat for the whole trip, any distance: S$58 for a pickup between 8:30pm and 3:55am, and S$65 for a pickup at any other time. Outside the 8:30pm to 3:55am window a valet may not be available at all.
There is no distance charge, no meter and no surge. The band is set by your pickup time, not by the time you book, and the fare you are shown before you confirm is the fare you pay.
Additional drop-offs on the way cost S$10 each, up to 5. You choose these when you book.
Waiting is charged at pickup only. The first 5 minutes are free. After that, waiting is S$15 for each complete 15 minutes, counted from when the valet arrives, or from your booked pickup time if the valet arrives before it. If you allow notifications, we notify you 2 minutes before each of the first four charges.
6. Payment
Nothing is charged when you book. When the trip ends we send you one bill for the fare, any additional drop-offs you selected and any waiting charge, with a link to pay it. The trip is delivered the same night, usually within 30 minutes of booking.
Until a bill is paid you cannot book another trip. If it is still unpaid shortly after the trip, we remind you once, by WhatsApp or by SMS.
Payment is by the methods offered in the app at the time of booking. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend your account until it is settled.
7. Cancellation, by you and by us
Cancelling is free until a valet accepts your booking. After a valet has accepted it, and until they arrive at your pickup point, the fee is S$10. After the valet has arrived, the fee is S$40, plus any waiting charge built up under section 5 by the time you cancel. These fees apply in the same way to a booking made in advance. From 28 October 2026 they apply to every booking, including one made earlier.
If the valet has arrived and you do not come to the pickup point, and we cannot reach you, we may cancel the booking as a no-show. You then pay the same fee as if you had cancelled at that moment.
If we cancel on you, or no valet is found, you pay nothing and anything already charged for that trip is refunded in full.
A refund is returned to the original payment method. It may take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.
8. Our valets
Valets who drive customer vehicles hold a valid Singapore Class 3 licence, have at least five years of driving experience, and are screened and approved by us before they take a job.
Our valets are independent contractors engaged by us, not your employees. We remain responsible to you for the service under these terms.
9. Damage during a trip
If our valet causes damage to your vehicle while driving it, we will cover the insurance excess you have to pay on your own policy, up to S$3,000 per trip, together with damage our valet causes that your insurer does not cover, up to the same limit.
This is a contractual commitment from DDD. It is not an insurance policy, we are not an insurer, and it does not replace your own motor insurance, which remains in force and remains your responsibility.
Report damage through the app within 48 hours of the trip ending, with photographs. We cannot assess a claim made later than that, because the vehicle has been in your hands in the meantime. We do not cover pre-existing damage, mechanical or electrical failure, wear, damage caused by a fault in the vehicle, or anything arising from the vehicle being unroadworthy or uninsured at the time of the trip.
10. Belongings
Your possessions are your own. Please take them with you. If something is left in your vehicle our valet will tell us and we will contact you, but we are not responsible for items left behind, and we cannot store them.
11. What we are not liable for
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, for lost profits, lost opportunity or indirect loss, or for delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including weather, road closures, traffic and failures of a third-party network or payment provider.
Where we are liable, our total liability for a trip is limited to the fare you paid for that trip plus the damage cover in section 9, to a maximum of S$3,065.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Singapore law.
12. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep access to that number secure; bookings made from your account are treated as yours.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app, or without the app at /delete-account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used fraudulently, or where a driver has been put at risk.
13. Privacy
How we handle personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act is set out in our Privacy Policy at /privacy. How we obtain consent for SMS is set out at /sms-consent.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
